Why travel with Go Kiwi Go?
Go Kiwi Go is a division of AFS, New Zealand's longest running student exchange programme, We've been doing exchanges since 1947, so we know what we're doing. We have a wrap around service, with partners in all of our destinations. With over 70 years experience, you know you're in safe hands!
Additionally, as part of our gap year experiences we provide an educational learning journey, so not only are you actively participating in your gap year, but we work with you to complete a Global Competence Certification, a valuable addition to your CV. For more information on the value of global competence, click here.
Why should you volunteer?
At Go Kiwi Go, we like to think of volunteering as an exchange, you give your time, your energy, your ideas, and your fees, but you also receive; doing something tangible like building, taking samples, helping educate, or any of the other great opportunities we have, which enable people and communities to reach their potential. You might ask why people pay to volunteer, for more detailed information, click here. At the end of the day, each individual person needs to make a decision that suits them. We believe the volunteer fee ensures the work volunteers do isn’t a burden on the local community, and that the community really benefits from the volunteers help and expertise. It also ensures that volunteers get the best experience with wrap around services, and that they come away feeling like they’ve really made a difference…..because they have.
